If you would like to contribute obituaries to this collection, please follow these guidelines:
- Submitted obituaries must have a Chickasaw County IA connection.
- Transcribe the text, as printed; although please type all surnames in uppercase, as is customary in genealogical work.
- If there are errors that you would like to point out and provide corrected information for, please reference them at the end of the obit, in "Contributor's Notes".
- The text may be entered into your email message, or in a separate text file, as an attachment to the message.
- Photographs are encouraged, if you have a picture of the deceased, please include that with the obituary (as a separate file, in most any format).
- Provide the name and date of the newspaper. If you are not sure, indicate that also.
- If you would like to include "Contributor’s Notes", please label and place this at the end of the obit text. This could contain any extra information you would like to share or clarification of proven errors in the obit.
- The last entry on your page will be for:
