Funeral Services Are Held Monday For Mrs. H. GANSER
Died Thursday in Milwaukee


Mrs. Hillard GANSER died Thursday, April 14, 1938 at Miseracordia Hospital, Milwaukee, Wis., where she had been two months.

Anna Mary BROST, oldest daughter of John and Katharine BROST was born November 16, 1871, at Marytown, Wis. Shortly after her birth, her parents moved to Stacyville.

On May 3, 1898, she was united in marriage to Hillard GANSER, and from that time on until this spring, they engaged in farming. Renting the farm, they purchased a home in town and two days after moving, she went to Milwaukee.

To this union seven children were born: Gerald, Richard, Pauline, Mary, Lawrence, Maurice, and Paul who died April 29, 1922. All the children were present at the funeral.

Mrs. GANSER was a devout christian woman, active in church work, a member of the Christian Mothers Society of Visitation Church, and a most wonderful neighbor. Her death has brought bitter sorrow to her husband and family, relatives and a legion of community and distant friends.

She is survived by her husband and children, three brothers, John, Canby, Minn.; Math, California; Anton, St. Paul. Minn.; Sister Mary Stella, Charter Oak, Iowa, and Mrs. Julia JASPER, Bovey, Minn., and six grandchildren.

Staceyville, Iowa funeral services were held Monday morning, April 18, 1938, at 9:00 a.m., at Visitation Church and burial in Visitation Cemetery.

Lewis, Washington; Maurice GANSER, Indinapolis, Indiana; George GANSER, Susan GANSER, Miss Gertrude MOLITOR, Sauk City, Wis; Mrs. Frank PULVERMACHER and daughter, Mrs. Lloyd BITTNER and daughter, Lodi, Wis.; Rev. Arthur HALBACH, Dyersville, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Peter HALBACH, Floyd, Iowa; Mrs. Anna WEBER, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer EARLY and two daughters, and Miss Margaret WEBER, St. Paul, Minn.
