DREWELOW - At her home three miles southeast of New Hampton, on Thursday June 13, 1901, Mrs. Gustav DREWELOW, aged 66 years.

Mrs. DREWELOW had been ill since February with a pulmonary affection, which battled all treatment. She had been contained to her bed for six weeks and the end was, to her, welcome surcease from suffering.

Deceased, whose maiden name was Augusta DREWELOW, was a native of Prussia. She came to America in 1859 and was married in that year to Mr. Gustav DREWELOW, they having been kins-people and neighbors in their native land. They first settled in Stapleton Township, afterward removing to the farm where she died.

She leaves besides the husband, five children-four sons and a daughter. They are Herman of Boyd; Gustav, Fred and Albert, residing east of town, and Mrs. Henry HEIDECKER, living west of town.

The funeral was held from the Baptist Church, Saturday, and burial was made in Graceland Cemetery.

Contributors notes:
-Gustav and Augusta DREWELOW were married July 18, 1858, so, logically, Augusta would have emigrated to America in 1858 rather than 1859.
